Develops a commercial loan portfolio focusing on full-service, quality relationships.
Originates and processes commercial loans in accordance with LSB’s internal policy, and complies with applicable lending laws and regulations.
Analyzes the credit history of applicants and determines their loan repayment capabilities.
Negotiates credit terms, such as costs, loan repayment methods, and collateral specifications.
Approves or rejects loan applications within individual lending authority.
Develops a pipeline of quality commercial loans through professional interaction, consultation, and joint review of selected credits.
Completes business development and retention calls on potential new clients and on existing clients.
Generally maintains a loan portfolio of $50,000,000 or greater.
Utilizes the customer relationship management system to document and report on prospecting and retention activities.
Upholds a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all LSB’s commercial loan products and deposit services.
Uses the LSB+ program to refer clients to departments outside of lending to fully utilize all LSB products and services.
Participates in networking events for the purpose of cultivating productive relationships for Lincoln Savings Bank.
Involved in civic and community affairs on behalf of Lincoln Savings Bank.
3 years of experience in commercial lending
Bachelor’s Degree in a business discipline preferred
Demonstrates strong sales/business development skills
