Responsible for supporting Information Security initiatives, manage risk and vulnerabilities within the information security program, and assist in hardening IT systems across the enterprise. This involves researching upcoming IT trends, creating contingency plans, reviewing suspicious activities, reporting security breaches, and educating the rest of the company on security measures.
Review system configurations and make recommendations to improve the security posture of these systems.
Collect, track, and monitor cybersecurity Key Performance Indicators.
Directly support the Information (IS) and Payment Card Industry (PCI) program.
Serve as the system administrator for LSB’s Data Classification & File Auditing Software.
Serve as the system administrator for LSB’s Data Loss Prevention System.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent preferred or at least two years’ comparable experience with information technology equipment, information security strategy, or cybersecurity.
Must have CompTIA Security+ or the ability to complete the Security+ Certification within one year of onboarding. CompTIA Network+ strongly preferred.
Knowledge of or experience working with critical cybersecurity systems, i.e., firewalls, data loss prevention, access controls, file-auditing software, data classification, etc.
Knowledge of or experience performing system hardening on critical IT infrastructure.
Knowledge of or experience working with reports, logs, and other security documentation.
